Stoic Ascent
The Realm Of The External World | STOIC ASCENT
The realm of the external world

Here is the place within which we all operate and all the scientific laws that govern this place are to be noted to see how results will present themselves along our journey through life. Secondly, we are to be mindful of other people that we shall come across as we traverse this journey as well. Thirdly it is our outlook upon how we look at any and all results that are presented to us. Meaning that is it an outlook of a hard materialist of randomness and chance or a higher power at work beyond our capabilities to fully understand.

The interaction we have with all three of the above regards is a worthy one to better understand the effect of greater wisdom being attained. Here again another couple of angles of looking at things from different perspectives for this kind of attainment of wisdom.

As the above three aspects just outlined are more on the general scope, our understanding can be understood to a degree that one can quite easily traverse through the path in front of us with not much difficulty as these can be understood to a degree that we are not hindered by whichever way we take a position on these very things.

Along the Stoic path, it starts to become more prudent to see things in such a way that it becomes prudent to look at things in a certain way. This is due to the Stoic having the aim that being able to understand that which is an external impression and that which is actually from the inner self.

For the Stoic is always looking to good and what constitutes this from their philosophical understanding. It is therefore imperative that the classifications of things are of utmost importance to the Stoics.

When anything of the external world presents itself then many of the Stoic concepts can be applied although here, we are keeping our focus on seeing and knowing the external world correctly before moving on further concepts which we will cover in other lessons.

The awareness of such a differentiation of the sources of things that are brought forth from either realm is the sharpness of thought that we are attempting to develop here.

For once this skill has been honed towards mastery then anything that presents itself to us, we shall be better equipped to progress towards the application of more of the concepts along the Stoic path.
